Bible in a Year - Day 217

Day 214 - Psalm 65, 66 & 67; Romans 2
You who answer prayer,
    to you all people will come.

When we were overwhelmed by sins,    you forgave our transgressions. (Psalm 65:2-3)
You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,
    God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
    and of the farthest seas... (Psalm 65:5)
You care for the land and water it;
    you enrich it abundantly.
The streams of God are filled with water
    to provide the people with grain,

 for so you have ordained it. (Psalm 65:9)
He turned the sea into dry land,
    they passed through the waters on foot—
    come, let us rejoice in him. (Psalm 66:6)

he has preserved our lives
    and kept our feet from slipping.

For you, God, tested us;
    you refined us like silver.

You brought us into prison
    and laid burdens on our backs.

You let people ride over our heads;
    we went through fire and water,

but you brought us to a place of abundance. (Psalm 66:9-12)
Praise be to God,
    who has not rejected my prayer
    or withheld his love from me! (Psalm 66:20)
May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
    for you rule the peoples with equity
    and guide the nations of the earth. (Psalm 67:4)
The land yields its harvest;    God, our God, blesses us. (Psalm 67:6)
For God does not show favoritism. (Romans 2:11)
They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them. (Romans 2:15) What an amazing verse. God doesn't make having access to a Bible, or the ability to read one necessary for being able to follow His commands; He has written His requirements upon our hearts! We have what we need inside us. No one is cut off.

Day 215 - Psalm 68 & 69; Romans 3
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
    is God in his holy dwelling.

God sets the lonely in families,
he leads out the prisoners with singing; (Psalm 68:5-6)
You gave abundant showers, O God;
    you refreshed your weary inheritance.

Your people settled in it,    and from your bounty, God, you provided for the poor. (Psalm 68:9-10)
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
    who daily bears our burdens.

Our God is a God who saves;    from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death. (Psalm 68:19-20)
The Lord hears the needy    and does not despise his captive people. (Psalm 69:33)
This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile. (Romans 3:22)
...and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:24)

Day 216 - Psalm 70, 71 & 72; Romans 4

Day 217 - Psalm 73 & 74; Romans 5
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:5-8)
